Dr. Rebecca Hsu provides private autopsy and expert witness services in the area of Forensic Pathology through her corporation, Hsu Enterprises, LLC. She established her corporation to fill the ever increasing gap in service in the area of forensic pathology that can no longer be handled by the traditional Medical Examiner/Coroner systems alone.
Dr. Hsu earned her B.A. in psychology from Columbia University in New York City, with the intent of pursuing Forensic Psychiatry as a field. However she discovered an interest in pathology while attending medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where she earned her M.D. in 1995. She completed her residency training in Cleveland prior to moving to Dallas, Texas for additional training. She completed a Chemical Pathology fellowship at the University of Texas at Dallas and a Forensic Pathology fellowship at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in 2000 and 2001 respectively. Seeking additional training in the death industry lead her to also pursue a degree in Mortuary Science, obtained from the Mesa Community College in 2007.
Uniquely trained in medicine, forensics and funeral service, Dr. Hsu has a clear understanding of the many complicated aspects of death as an industry.
