Clarity in a time of need
Dr. Hsu has trained in psychology, forensics, and funeral service and has been working in her field for many years. Families with a loss are often too overwhelmed to fully process all the information that is brand new at a time of grief. Many funeral homes and attorneys send clients to discuss their needs to help determine if additional services are necessary. Dr. Hsu can help direct families who have questions about research, inherited disease evaluations, and explain a confusing and often frustrating system of death investigation.
Organs for Research
Hsu Enterprise LLC works with several university medical centers and donation organizations to arrange for organ donations of the deceased as part of their research protocols. Clients already enrolled in a program who need organs procured, or those looking to donate to a program are welcome. Currently, we are enrolled in several programs specializing in brain donations for dementia.
Medical Records Review
When a loss has occurred, it is understandable that families may have a lot of questions. Many reviews are done for litigation, but medical record reviews can be also be done for non-litigation purposes. Reviews can aid clients in obtaining a clearer understanding of what transpired and can help clients and attorneys determine if a case is worth pursuing. While not formal grief counseling, Dr. Hsu spends time with the client to help them move forward after their loss.
Forensic Education
Dr. Hsu has experience giving lectures and providing educational demonstrations to groups ranging from forensic professionals, insurance agents and law enforcement to children from pre-school to high school. Teachers, students and others looking for more information on a career in forensics can find some answers from us.
Media Services
Dr. Hsu has experience in media services, and she has done a podcast, helped with accuracy in reality show scripts, and has performed in several television productions for forensics. Dr. Hsu continues to pursue projects with educational and informational value in all aspects of death and dying.
